Penelope Cruz: I’m Not Pregnant!
Penelope Cruz addressed those pesky pregnancy rumors at the Toronto International Film Festival screening of hernew movie Broken Embraces on Thursday (September 10).
The 35-year-old actress told USA Today, “I start getting some presents from friends saying, ‘Congratulations, you’re pregnant.’ And I say, ‘No, I’m not, so return the presents.’ It’s amazing.”
To further Penelope’s story, she was seen smoking Parliament cigarettes with BFF Salma Hayek and two other gal pals at Chateau Marmont hotel in Hollywood.

Wearing a slimming black outfit, Penelope Cruz covers up her baby bump while working on the set of a new mystery project on Tuesday afternoon (September 8) in Los Angeles.
As reported exclusively last month, the Madrid-born actress and her longtime love Javier Bardem are expecting their first child together.
Penelope, 35, and Javier, 40, appeared together in three films — Jamón, Jamón, Live Flesh and Vicky Cristina Barcelona.

Penelope Cruz is expecting her first child with longtime love Javier Bardem, sources confirm exclusively to JustJared.com.“Penelope is about four months pregnant,” a source tells Just Jared. “She’s really healthy now and will be a great mother.”
Penelope may be expecting, but she won’t be tying the knot anytime soon. She told the August issue of UK’s Psychologies magazine, “When I [have babies], I want to do it really well. I want it to be my best project in life. I don’t know if I believe in marriage. I believe in family, love and children.”
Penelope, 35, and Javier, 40, appeared together in three films — Jamón, Jamón, Live Flesh and Vicky Cristina Barcelona.Penelope has been in Germany promoting her latest movie, Broken Embrace.
Congrats to the happy couple!
P.S. This might be why Penelope decided to quit smoking.

The couple usually stays away from public displays of affection, but this time they held hands, embraced, and cuddled close for their lunch date and stroll. A few months ago there were rumors that Penelope is expecting, and the flowy shirt might reignite interest in the story. The actress also recently spoke about her desire to have children, more so than marriage. She said, "I want to have babies one day but not right now. When I do it I want to do it really well. I want it to be my best project in life. I don’t know if I believe in marriage. I believe in family, love and children." It's rare to see these two blissfully in love, and we can't help but also point out — she is wearing something sparkly on that certain left hand ring finger. Just saying.

Salma Hayek and Francois-Henri Pinault kicked off their wedding weekend with a masked gala on Friday night in Venice for all their guests. Celebrity attendees include Charlize Theron and Stuart Townsend, as well as Edward Norton, Woody Harrelson, Antonio Banderas, Melanie Griffith, Penelope Cruz, Javier Bardem, Ashley Judd, and more (Gael Garcia Bernal, Zhang Ziyi, Valeria Golino, Francois Mitterand, Jacques Chirac, Bernadette Chirac, Skin, Riccardo Scamarcio, Stella McCartney, Emir Kusturica, Frida Giannini, Lily Cole, Enrique Murciano). Salma and Francois-Henri's daughter Valentina got to join in the festivities, carried into the awaiting gondolas in the arms of her smiling father. What an amazing way to welcome guests to their wedding — hopefully the bride and groom can focus on the party because the official ceremony part was all the way back on Valentine's Day.
