Ellen Pompeo and producer husband Chris Ivery have welcomed a daughter.
“Her name is Stella Luna Pompeo Ivery,” Ellen’s rep tells JustJared.com. “She was born on September 15th (Tuesday).”
This is the first child for the 39-year-old Grey’s Anatomy actress and her music producer husband. The baby news was first reported by Us Weekly.
Ellen and Chris wed at New York’s City Hall in 2007.

Mommy-to-be Ellen Pompeo returns home after attending her pilates class in Los Angeles on Saturday morning (August 15).
The 39-year-old Grey’s Anatomy actress is reportedly having a baby girl!
A glowing Ellen went shopping with a friend at Juvenile Shop in Sherman Oaks, Calif., on July 23, where she bumped into Nicole Richie.
“Nicole and Ellen greeted each other with a hug and seemed like they were good friends,” an eyewitness tells In Touch. Nicole was helping Ellen with her baby registry since Ellen is due in October. She wanted everything from a BabyBjorn bouncer to girly organic blankets!
“Nicole was so excited to offer her help to Ellen,” says an insider. “She was giving advice about what she should buy and things she’ll need for the nursery.”

Ellen Pompeo and her husband, Chris Ivery, are expecting their first child, confirms JustJared.com.
“It’s great news,” her rep Jennifer Allen first told People. “They’re ecstatic.”
The 39-year-old Grey’s Anatomy actress first met the 41-year-old music producer at a grocery store in 2003 and began dating six months later. The couple was married at New York’s City Hall in November 2007. Mayor Michael Bloomberg even served as their witness!
