Straight from the Randy Travis school of traditional country singing, Josh Turner deep croon sounds better with each successive release. His baritone sounds molasses-smooth and whiskey-aged. It's a rarity in these pop-diluted days of mainstream country. His voice is not only recognizable, but it's also vintage and commercial.
